She is a gifted leader, but also works as part of the team, in a hands-on, collaborative relationship. Her attention to detail is what constantly impresses me, where almost always, any issue is sorted before it can even be raised. From rostering, to cost control, cleanliness to drink elevation, this focus on the detail and drive to continuously improve is signature of her working ethos.

 We are extremely sad to lose such a pivotal member of our team, despite her only being with us for less than 6 months. We knew upon hiring Mon that her dream was to travel to Scotland a few months later, but it was always going to be worth us having her for any length of time we could, however short. Her industry reputation in this town precedes her, and we know that word will soon spread, wherever she goes, that she is a formidable and highly valuable ‘gun’ hospitality professional.

 We wish Mon every success in her future, regardless of where in the world she heads, but also know that she will ensure success on her own.

Mon has a job waiting in our business any time she wants to come back to Australia.
